Kids Pastor

The Anchor Kids Pastor will plan, organize, and lead Kids Ministry experiences at Anchor Church while building and developing a Kids Ministry team of other pastors, staff, contractors and volunteers.

At Anchor Church, Kids Ministry is more than a glorified baby sitting thing we do for parents. Kids Ministry is the heartbeat of our family culture.  It is everything.  Kid's Ministry is beyond the walls of the weekend services. The responsibility of a Kids Pastor is to set culture and lead a culture that helps all kids know God, discover their purpose and change their world.   It is the frontlines of the most important ministry in the kingdom of God.  If you agree, you could be what we’re looking for.

We are currently looking for a full-time  Pastor to lead Anchor Kids in all aspects of  multiple weekend experiences and other avenues for Kids Ministry..

Who you are:
  • A genuine human navigating the real facets of loving God.
  • High-level experience leading with leaders, pastors and servant leaders. , 
  • Organized and efficient especially with time management.
  • An excellent communicator both orally and written.
  • A multi-tasking team player with high energy, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.

What you'll do:
  • Plan, organize, and spiritually lead multiple Kid's MInistry experiences on weekends and other times.
  • Recruit, train, and build a Kids Ministry team and establish a Kids Ministry culture.
  • Plan and organize Kids Ministry experiences to meet weekly time requirements.
  • Oversee the weekly administration functions and  care for families & team  members.

The perfect fit is:
  • Experienced in building and leading a staff and servant leadership team at a high level. 
  • Loves people, enjoys pioneering, building culture, building teams and living in a culture of real grace and fun.
  • Experienced in service planning, calendar planning, child-hood development and basic family ministry support. 
  • Has some basic experience in producing video teaching, speaking, training, writing and developing tools to build people.,
