Church Services in Prosper, Texas

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life."
- Proverbs 13:12

Looking for a church in Prosper, Texas? You’ve come to the right place! At Anchor Church, we welcome all of God’s children, and we hope you’ll consider us as you look for a church in Prosper.

A Church for Prosper, Texas Kids

At Anchor Church, we have a variety of programs designed to help your young ones discover their relationship with Christ. First there’s Anchor Kids, which is designed for children who are in 5th Grade or younger. The goal of Anchor Kids is to have fun in a safe, kind environment. At this age, we’re working with parents to help ensure that the child has been exposed to the teachings of Christ.

Anchor Kids is split into three different groups: a nursery room for babies two years of age or younger, a Bible pre-school for children between two and five years of age, and a fun elementary service for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Once your child is too old for Anchor Kids, they’re ready for The Vive! This is a Christian student movement for Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers. It’s focused on helping adolescents learn from the lessons of God as they live through the tumultuous pains of growing.

The Vive has Sunday night services and Monday morning services. As well, it hosts a summer camp where kids can learn about Christ over the summer!

The Anchor Young Adults Group is designed for Prosper residents who are in the early stages of adulthood. This is a good atmosphere for college kids, who can speak with professionals in their twenties who have also gone through college. It’s a place for Christians who’ve had time to mature and think about God’s place in their life.

Prosper, Texas Baptisms

If you live in Prosper and you want to get baptized, Anchor Church is there for you. We conduct baptisms on Sunday, right after service, in order to help you live your Christian rebirth. We encourage you to invite your loved ones as you go through your rebirth.

Babies may be baptized, with the acknowledgment that this is an agreement between the parents and God. Your child will need to make a conscious, informed decision to be baptized once they are old enough to understand the decision.

We also offer baptisms to people who have already been baptized
