Anchor Church has congregants from all around the area, including Allen, Texas. If you’re looking for a place where you can worship the Lord and learn His teachings, we’re here to help you on your journey.

People of All Ages are Welcome at the Church

While people of all ages are invited to our church, we offer different methods of teaching for different age groups.

Infants will be taken care of in the nursery, while their older family members celebrate their commitment to Christ. Pre-schoolers and elementary schoolers each learn about the Word of God by playing games and listening to stories.

For middle schoolers and high schoolers, we have Vive. This is a student movement, designed to help adolescents through a difficult and confusing time.

After that, there’s Anchor Young Adults. This program is designed for college students and recent graduates, who can discuss the Word of God and understand what it’s meant in their lives.

Aside from our regular church services, adults may also choose to take part in one of our Life Groups. The purpose of these groups is to allow Allen, Texas Christians to socialize with their fellow believers. Activities will vary by group: some are essentially Bible Studies, while others are more akin to a potluck or more casual discussion. To look at our groups, click here.

How to Become a Member of Our Allen, Texas Church

In order to join the church, you need to give us three Sundays. On the first Sunday, you’re invited to our Welcome to the Church Party. This lets us meet each other in an informal setting, where you can get to know the church. On the second Sunday, we discuss the path that Christians take with our church. On the third Sunday, we dive deeper into our philosophy, discussing Christ’s teachings and how they relate to you.

For a sample of the teachings you’ll hear, check out our Statement of Belief. You can also listen to Pastor Jeff Jenkins’s sermons here.
